Term of Use

1. TheContractorReview.com Waiver of Liability

TheContractorReview.com allows users to search our database for contractors in the specified area. TheContractorReview.com does not guarantee that there will be any contractors who work in the specified area or that any contractors are willing or interested to work on any intended project.

TheContractorReview.com does not guarantee the skills or the craftsmanship of any contractor that may provide a service if hired. TheContractorReview.com does not warrant the behavior on the job or the quality of the outcome of the work and service provided.

It is exclusively the responsibility of the consumer to contact and enter into a direct contract or else reach an agreement with a contractor. TheContractorReview.com does not support or recommend any contractor. The contractors associated with TheContractorReview.com are not employees or agents of TheContractorReview.com, nor is TheContractorReview.com an agent or employee of the contractors.

If a consumer enters into a contract or agreement with a contractor than the rights of that consumer are governed by the terms of that contract or agreement and by valid federal, state, provincial and local laws. In the occurrence of a dispute between a consumer and a contractor, that dispute must be settled directly between the consumer and the contractor, or any of the consumer or contractor’s representatives.

BY USING THE THECONTRACTORREVIEW.COM SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO RELEASE THECONTRACTORREVIEW.COM (AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS) AND ANY OTHER PERSON, FIRM, OR ENTITY FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES OR CLAIMS (INCLUDING CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES) OF EVERY KIND OR NATURE, SUSPECTED AND UNSUSPECTED, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, AND DISCLOSED OR UNDISCLOSED, IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR DEALINGS WITH CONTRACTORS.

2. Testimonial Policy

Consumers who hire any contractor associated with TheContractorReview.com are encouraged to write reviews on that contractor’s performance. A consumer may not write a review on any contractor unless that contractor has been hired and/or employed by that consumer.

TheContractorReview.com does not verity the legitimacy or accuracy of any review before it is published to its website. TheContractorReview.com does not and will not edit any review in any way other than to correct spelling mistakes and obvious grammatical errors. TheContractorReview.com holds the right to remove any review that include foul or vulgar language. Notwithstanding, TheContractorReview.com holds the right to add, change, or remove reviews at any time. TheContractorReview.com is not responsible for the contents of any review posted to any contractor’s profile.

A copy of a consumer’s review may be sent to the contractor that has been reviewed. Consumers should only post truthful reviews about their experience with any contractor they may have hired, as slander and libel laws are in place to protect people/companies from testimonial misuse.

A consumer is only allowed to write and submit one review per contractor per job.
